“I love the Queen City Selma.”
That’s the new branding theme for Selma tourism and business revealed by Design Alabama at an event held at Arts Revive on Thursday, Jan 30.
Thursday’s gathering was a follow up to an August meeting where scores of Selma residents dropped by to tell their vision for the city and to give input to design professionals who were developing a strategy to improve and brand the city.
On Thursday another large group showed up at the Carneal Building (Arts Revive) to hear the results of their input, and the significance of the large crowd was not lost on Selma Redevelopment Authority (SRA) Chairman Juanda Maxwell.
