An aviation training and maintenance firm is coming to Craig Field, bringing a $1.3 million investment and 70 new jobs to Dallas County.

Gov. Kay Ivey made the announcement in a hangar at Craig Field on Friday morning alongside economic development leaders and elected officials from Dallas County and the state.

The new firm, Resicum International LLC, will provides flight training and maintenance support to government, commercial and general aviation customers, plans to open an aviation training academy at Craig Field in Selma that will prepare the next generation of industry professionals from around the world.
