Scholarships are being offered by Alabama State University for qualifying first-time freshmen college students to cover the costs of commuting to school. 

"CommUniversity Commuter Scholarship" grants $2,000 each years for up to four years which is a maximum of eight semesters. 

Qualifications can be seen here. Among these is a 2.75 GPA, live in Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Bullock, Macon, Dallas, Lowndes or Wilcox and commute to campus.
