Selma High alumni charity game

Selma High girls alumni basketball team won the citywide basketball tournament on Saturday.

The TNA Heat girls travel team hosted a citywide alumni charity game as a fundraiser on Saturday at Wallace Community College in Selma.

The alumni men and women who participated were from Southside, Selma High, Keith and Dallas County. Selma High alumni men and women finished as the champions of the event.

This game raised money to help the Heat team pay tournament fees and travel expenses for their last tournament on July 29-31 in Pensacola.

The Heat head coach, Letti Hasberry, said she truly appreciated everyone in the community coming out and showing support.

“This was our last fundraiser of the summer before our last tournament and I’m grateful that everyone showed so much love.”
