Dallas County reported 1,280 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of late Friday night, an increase of 21 from Friday, and the death toll remains at 23.
Cases have risen 154 in the last 14 days in Dallas County, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health Infectious Diseases & Outbreaks Division.

There are currently 88,000 confirmed cases in Alabama, an increase of 3,000 from Friday, and 1,576 deaths related to the virus. More than 703,000 tests were conducted as of Aug. 1, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
