United Way of Selma and Dallas County establishes community relief fund

United Way of Selma and Dallas County established a community relief fund to counter the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The group released a statement to media saying that the relief fund was set up today with an additional $10,000 to assist “areas of feeding, emergency family assistance, and aide to distressed nonprofits.”

“Anyone wishing to make a donation this fund can do so through the United Way of Selma & Dallas County,” the statement said. “It is our prayer that the crisis will be over soon and all of our friends and neighbors come through it with as little distress as possible.”
