Dallas County reported 744 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Sunday morning, an increase of 16 cases from Friday.

Cases have increased 230 in the last 14 days.

The death rate in Dallas County remains at eight, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health Infectious Diseases & Outbreaks Division.

Dallas County ranks 13th out of 67 counties in Alabama for number of cases, according healthcare software firm Voro.

There are currently 34,600 confirmed cases in Alabama and 898 reported deaths related to the virus. More than 385,000 tests were conducted as of June 28, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.
